ROCKWALL, TX – September 8, 2020 — Stop by the First Presbyterian Church in Rockwall (602 White Hills Dr.) on Saturday, Sept. 19 from 10 a.m. to noon for their next Helping Hands Drive By Drop Off event.
The Mission Committee purposefully planned this for Sept. 19 as Sept. 17 is North Texas Giving Day. For the month of September Helping Hands is asking for the following items for the Food Pantry (most needed items in bold):
- sugar
- cooking oil
- boxed stuffing mix
- canned chili
- ramen noodles
- canned chicken
- canned tuna
- mashed potatoes (packages, not boxed)
- instant gravy (packages)
- brownie mix/cake mix
- frosting
- feminine hygiene products
- toilet paper
- paper towels
To make a donation, all you have to do is drive up to the church in front by the cross and pop your trunk. Volunteers will remove your donations, and send you on your way with blessings.
The donations will be delivered to Helping Hands on Monday, Sept. 21.
