Creepy-crawlies and prehistoric fossils provide thrills at Kids Day in the Park

ROCKWALL, TX – October 23, 2020 — Kids had a blast at the Rockwall County Historical Foundation Kids Day in the Park last weekend! The fun event took place at Harry Myers Park on the grounds of the RCHF Museum and featured wildlife experts from Window to the Wild and Wildlife on the Move.

RCHF also welcomed special guest Tim Brys of the Perot Museum, who wowed families with a presentation on Dinosaurs & Fossils. Additional activities included Gem & Mineral Identification for kids, Butterflies & Bees with the Master Gardeners, All About Archaeology, and the Kona Ice Truck. RCHF Youth Advisory Council Members and board members, Scouts and The National Charity League Texas Pearl and Lonestar Chapters helped make the day a success for all!
