ROCKWALL, TX – October 15, 2020 — It is raffle time in Rockwall! The Rockwall Robotics Booster Club, Inc. is raffling a 2020 Ford Mustang to support FRC 1296 Full Metal Jackets.
The team can be seen all over Rockwall, in their orange camo pants! They are involved with several non-profit organizations including: Bikes for Tykes, Lone Star Casa 5k, North Texas Giving Day, and mentoring numerous junior teams throughout Rockwall. Over the past four years the team has volunteered over 7,000 community service hours to Rockwall County learning to live a life of service and giving back to the community that supports them. After graduation, many students have continued in the engineering fields of mechanical, electrical, and software.
To raise money to support this outstanding team, the booster club is holding a car raffle. The Rockwall Robotics Booster Club, Inc has tickets for $25 each and multiple tickets can be purchased to increase your chances of winning! The drawing will take place Dec. 12 at 5 p.m. at Rockwall Ford. Only 2,500 tickets will be sold – each ticket sold helps the booster club fund expenses for the team!
