ROCKWALL, TX – November 3, 2020 — Enjoy a casual afternoon filled with fun during the Downtown Rockwall Association’s Sunday Funday Street Dance event on the Downtown Square.
Starting at 3 p.m., folks can enjoy some friendly competition in a Corn Hole Tournament hosted by the Rockwall Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals of Rockwall group. Food vendors will be onsite from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. providing some yummy eats for all, and downtown restaurants will be open to serve.
At 6 p.m., the Emerald City Band will take the stage at the Historic Courthouse to kickoff the Street Dance. For over 30 years, Emerald City Band has been performing for some of the most high profile events, weddings and corporations. Averaging more then 300 performances a year, The Dallas Morning News, D Magazine, Knot Magazine, and AACWP voted Emerald City as “Entertainers of the Year” and they’ve been nominated for the prestigious National Spotlight Award in Las Vegas. Emerald City has shared the stage with such artists as Martina McBride, Michael McDonald, Hewy Lewis and the News, Justin Timberlake, Garth Brooks, Maria Cary, Dan Aykroyd, Sinbad, and the list goes on and on.
