Rockwall Helping Hands seeks volunteers for Toy Drive Distribution

ROCKWALL, TX – December 2, 2020 — Instead of having volunteers escort families through the gym to select toys, Rockwall Helping Hands is calling each family to get a wish list for their children. The week before distribution day, toys will be sorted, selected and packed for each child by volunteers. On the day of the distribution, December 12th, families will drive through and the preselected and packaged toys will be put into their vehicles, curbside.

Helping Hands need volunteers to help with sorting and selecting gifts in the days leading up to the distribution. You must be able to squat and carry heavy boxes and bags. Due to COVID restrictions, all volunteers must be 18 years old or older. We cannot allow parents to accompany younger students in the gym this year. Masks are required!

This event will be held at the Rockwall ISD Administration Bldg located at 1050 Williams St.
