ROCKWALL, TX – February 26, 2021 — Members of Ebby Halliday Realtors’ Rockwall/Heath/Lake Ray Hubbard Office donated food, blankets and other essential items to area homebound seniors impacted by the winter storm.
The agents saw the devastation that occurred to so many during the recent extreme winter-weather event, in which temperatures dropped into the teens and power outages and rolling blackouts were widespread. All of the office’s agents came together to assist, sending out an SOS call to help the most vulnerable citizens: seniors impacted by the freezing weather.
The agents contacted Meals On Wheels and asked what they needed to help individuals and families get through the storm and its after-effects. Ebby agents donated food, blankets, paper goods, socks, toiletries and much more to assist senior citizens in our community.
