Rockwall ISD presents SAFE! virtual parent education event March 4

ROCKWALL, TX – February 26, 2021 — Rockwall ISD Social Services Department invites parents to SAFE! – a virtual parent education event covering important topics like keeping teens safe, promoting mental wellness, recognizing signs of stress and depression, and much more. The event will be held Thursday, March 4th at 6 p.m.

In this presentation, parents will learn to:

  • Promote mental wellness and strong coping skills
  • Recognize signs of stress and depression
  • Promote adolescent brain health
  • Know the warning signs of suicidal behavior
  • Recognize and respond to a young person in crisis
  • Connect with tools and resources to keep youth SAFE!
