ArtReach students create ‘eggs’-tra fun Easter cards

ROCKWALL, TX – March 4, 2021 — Students of the ArtReach-by-Mail program received Easter-themed art packages in the mail to create some hoppin’ good art. The packages allowed students to get creative and make eggs-traordinarily fun Easter cards complete with stickers, clouds, flowers and more!

ArtReach’s February mail kits were stuffed with colorful paper and hearts for students to make six Valentines and a watercolor. Also included was a return stamped envelope to each student who would like to exhibit his or her card at the Rockwall County Library in May.

The ArtReach-by-Mail program was created to allow students of the program to continue learning and practicing art remotely due to COVID-19. ArtReach sends all the supplies they’ll need in fun mail packages, which include sketch pads with art supplies and lesson plans for each student participating in the program. With the help of AMICA Rockwall and the Rockwall Women’s League, ArtReach has been able to provide mail packages for students on several occasions since last fall.
