ROCKWALL, TX – March 4, 2021 — Clarence Jorif is running for Rockwall City Council Place 3. He is a decorated U.S. Army veteran and public servant with more than 30 years of community service and leadership experience. He is a proud Texan, Conservative Christian, husband and father of 3. His priorities are public safety, smart community and business development, and representing the needs of Rockwall.

He is running for Rockwall City Council to make a positive difference in public safety and the continuing development of our Rockwall community. Live, work, play embodies what Rockwall is all about and he believes these ideals should be safeguarded as Rockwall continues to grow as a vibrant self-sustaining community. Clarence and his family have resided in Rockwall for the past nine years following successful military, law enforcement, and U.S. Secret Service careers.

Clarence is a distinguished graduate of Norwich University, Northfield, VT from which he obtained a Master’s Degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Public Safety/Emergency Preparedness. He graduated from The State University of New York – Excelsior College, Albany, NY, with an Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology.



He has an extensive law enforcement background. He knows public safety firsthand having served a combined total of more than 34 years as a military law enforcement officer, local police officer, a U.S. Secret Service Senior Special Agent (Retired), and currently as a Reserve Deputy. He knows the needs of our first responders and the support they require of their community and local leaders. Clarence will always be the voice that addresses the needs of our first responders who tirelessly protect and selflessly safeguard the citizens of Rockwall.

As a visionary and forward-thinking Councilman, Clarence will focus on addressing the current and future needs of our growing community. He will work with his fellow Councilmembers and Rockwall organizations in planning for the continued sensible growth and development of Rockwall. As a small business owner, he knows that city government must continue to be the driving force that helps facilitate economic growth for the residents of Rockwall.
