ROCKWALL, TX – April 21, 2021 — The Desoto Fire Training Center Class #66 will host a FUN-raising event May 1st to send 66 kids to Camp I-Thonka-Chi for youth burn survivors. Parkland’s burn camps allow children who have been hospitalized with burn injuries a chance to share time with others who face similar life-altering challenges.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Legends Fit (1830 I-30 E in Rockwall) enjoy fitness and firefighter challenges, rope knot lessons, Q & A’s, Silent Auction, and giveaways. Cash donations will be accepted at the event to help Class 66 send kids to camp.
