ROCKWALL, TX – April 30, 2021 — Early Voting came to a close for the 2021 Rockwall County Uniform Election on April 27th, and saw a huge number of ballots cast heading into Election Day on Saturday, May 1st.
According to the Rockwall County Elections Office, a total of 5,876 ballots were cast during Early Voting – more than the total votes in each of the past two May elections in the county.
The May election in 2019 saw a total 2,316 votes. In the May 2018 election, the total was 5,455 votes.
Polls for Election Day voting for the Uniform Election open May 1st at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. Voters who choose to vote on Election Day must vote at their designated polling location for their precinct. For polling locations visit www.rockwallvotes.com.
