ROCKWALL, TX – May 28, 2021 — The Rockwall Women’s League gave out $56,300 worth of grants to local area nonprofits during a drive thru reception at First United Methodist Church this morning. The grant money comes from the funds raised during RWL’s 2021 Charity Ball.

Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas — $500
Rockwall County Helping Hands – Children’s Medical Fund — $20,000
Rockwall County Helping Hands – Assistance & Referral — $5,000
Hope Dawning — $400
Rockwall County Kiwanis — $1,500
J.E.R. Chilton YMCA at Rockwall — $500
Lone Star CASA — $1,500
Meals On Wheels Senior Services of Rockwall County — $5,000
One Man’s Treasure — $500
Patriot PAWS Service Dogs — $5,000
Poiema Foundation — $1,000
Rainbow Room of Rockwall County — $1,000
Rockwall Adoption Center — $500
Rockwall Art League — $200
Rockwall County Historical Foundation — $500
Rockwall Grace Clinic — $4,200
