Royse City’s Celebrating Freedom – Saturday, June 26

WHAT: Live music lineup featuring Brandon Bamburg (6-6:45PM), Big Gus & Swampadelic (7-8PM) and headliner Wade Bowen (8:15-9:30PM); Food trucks available from 6-9:30PM; Prayer, flags and National Anthem from 9:45-10PM; Fireworks show beginning approximately at 10PM; Masks are encouraged but not required

WHERE: Royse City ISD Stadium (700 FM 2642, Royse City, TX)

Wylie Jubilee – Bluegrass on Ballard – Saturday, June 26

WHAT: A fun festival for the whole family featuring top Bluegrass bands, a 200+ car show, 100+ arts and crafts, yummy fair food and kids’ activities; Visit www.wylietexas.org for band schedule / more info

WHERE: Historic Downtown Wylie (Ballard Ave. – Hwy. 78 to Brown St. – and Olde City Park)

Market Street Allen USA Celebration – Saturday, June 26

WHAT: Family-fun celebration featuring live music on two stages, military vehicles on display, pop-up performances, antique vehicles and muscle car show, kid zone, VIP party zone, ninja challenge, football combine challenge, games and more; One of North Texas’s largest fireworks shows caps off the evening

WHEN: Saturday, June 26 from 7-10PM

WHERE: Celebration Park in Allen (701 Angel Pkwy. at Malone Dr.)

PRICE: Free admission

 

Rockwall Independence Day Parade & Fireworks Show – Saturday, July 3

WHAT: Annual Independence Day celebration featuring a parade in the morning and patriotic festivities in the evening at Harry Myers Park; festivities include a parachute jump, live music on the grand stage in front of Pickens Lake, and a fireworks show; Those interested in entering a float in the parade must fill out the application HERE by June 25th

WHEN: Saturday, July 3 at 11AM; Evening festivities begin at 7PM

WHERE: Parade will start at Utley Middle School and go north on TL Townsend Dr., left on Boydstun Ave, right on Fannin St., and will end with a right turn on Rusk St. at Dobbs Elementary School; Evening festivities and fireworks show at Harry Myers Park

PRICE: Free. Fireworks parking is $5 cash across the street from Harry Myers park, benefiting Rockwall Breakfast Rotary club.

Heath Independence Day Parade – Saturday, July 3

WHAT: A beloved July 4th tradition featuring a parade with floats, bicycles, wagons & strollers, golf carts & off-road vehicles, antique cars and patriotic pets; a patriotic program in Towne Center Park immediately following the parade; live music, parade float awards, and free pie and popsicles; Community veterans are invited to ride on the city’s Veterans Float in the parade; Heath patriotic t-shirts, spirit visors and hats are available for purchase, click HERE to order by June 13th to receive in time for the event; To enter a float in the parade visit www.heathtx.com

WHEN: Saturday, July 3 at 9AM; Parade float staging begins at Amy Parks-Heath Elementary School, 330 Laurence Drive at 8AM, with judging at 8:15AM

WHERE: Parade starts at Amy Parks-Heath Elementary School, travels along Laurence Dr., left on Smirl Dr., right on Terry Ln., left on Larry Dr., then left on Hubbard Dr. back to Amy Parks

Rowlett Freedom 5K Walk/Run – Saturday, July 3

WHAT: 5K / Kids Fun Run / Virtual 5K for the whole family featuring a new route, finisher medals, tech t-shirts for 5K runners and goody bags; a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Heroes Bridge Memorial Park Foundation; Register at www.rowlett5k.com

WHEN: Saturday, July 3 at 7:15AM; Kids Fun Run at 7AM

Addison Kaboom Town – Saturday, July 3

WHAT: Massive fireworks show (one of the top shows in the nation) featuring 20% more fireworks this year; a patriotic Addison Airport Freedom Flyover covering the entire town and visible from all the city’s 180+ restaurants and 22 hotels; Concessions available in the park

WHEN: Saturday, July 3 at 5PM; Freedom Flyover at 7:30PM; Fireworks at 9:30PM

WHERE: Addison Circle Park (4970 Addison Circle Dr., Addison, TX)

PRICE: Free park admission with concession food available for purchase

 

Red, White and BOOM! in McKinney – Saturday, July 3

WHAT: Celebrate Independence Day in McKinney with family activities, live entertainment and a spectacular fireworks show; The event kicks off in downtown McKinney with a hometown parade and classic car, truck and cycle show; Festivities resume in the evening at the McKinney Soccer Complex at Craig Ranch with food, kids’ activities, a concert and the fireworks show; More information at mckinneytexas.org.

Brick Tavern 4th of July in Sachse – Sunday, July 4

WHAT: IX Brothers MC presents the 4th of July BBQ & Bikini Bike Wash. There will be music, food, fun, and a gun raffle. Proceeds benefit Heroes Bridge Memorial Park Foundation and the #WalkTheBridge movement.

The IX Brothers are one of a number of North Texas / Southern Oklahoma 99% Law Abiding Motorcycle Clubs who have stepped up and embraced the challenge of raising awareness about the epidemic of Veteran and First Responder Suicide, helping provide solutions and alternatives through counseling, training, and peer support AND, providing affected families a place of reflection and remembrance – HEROES BRIDGE MEMORIAL PARK!

Rowlett Fireworks on Main – Sunday, July 4

WHAT: Fireworks on Main with live music, a variety of food trucks and vendors, a spectacular kids’ area, and whole host of family fun, activities and attractions. Martha and Vandellas is headlining.

WHEN: 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday, July 5

WHERE: 5304 Main St. (directly behind WetZone waterpark)

PRICE: Free

 

Fair Park Fourth – Sunday, July 4

WHAT: The largest Independence Day celebration in the Dallas area featuring live music, inflatables, crafts and kids activities, and a grand fireworks show; Enjoy Midway rides and games (for an admission fee), Swan Boats for rent on Leonhardt Lake plus concession stands and lots of delicious Fair food for purchase; Visit bigtex.com for more info

Fort Worth’s Fourth at Panther Island Pavilion – Sunday, July 4

WHAT: Enjoy the largest fireworks show in North Texas, plus free activities for the whole family throughout the day including face painting, bounce houses, tubing, ziplining, horseback riding and water shows; festival food and drinks; live country music on the Trinity River shore

WHEN: Sunday, July 4 at 6PM; Fireworks at 9:30PM

WHERE: Panther Island Pavilion (395 Purcey St., Fort Worth, TX)

PRICE: Free admission

 

Lone Stars & Stripes Fireworks Festival – Sunday, July 4

WHAT: Thoroughbred horse races and a patriotic celebration with a spectacular, 20-minute fireworks show; live music on the Courtyard of Champions stage; family fun activities including airbrush tattoo artists, inflatable slides and obstacle courses, pony rides and a petting zoo

WHEN: Sunday, July 4 at 3PM; live music from 3-9PM; first horse race at 5PM; fireworks start after the last horse race at approximately 10PM

WHERE: Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie (1000 Lone Star Pkwy, Grand Prairie, TX )

PRICE: General admission $5, all parking $20; veterans get in free with valid Military ID
