Rockwall-Heath High School Cheerleader Spotlight: Sydney Hunt

HEATH, TX – September 2, 2021 — Sydney Hunt is a senior varsity cheerleader at Rockwall-Heath High school. She is the daughter of L.J. and Melissa Hunt and sister to Ethan Hunt. Sydney has held a leadership position all four years that she has been a part of the Heath cheer program. Sydney is the varsity head cheerleader for the 2021-2022 school year. She has previously served as junior rep, JV head cheerleader, and freshman head cheerleader. Sydney is a three time NCA All-American cheerleader and competed as part of the 2020 and 2021 NCA National Champion teams. She has won cheerleader of the year three years in a row as well as Miss 100% and best main base. She maintains good grades and is in the top 6% of her graduating class along with being a part of Heath cheers 4.0 club. She gives all the glory to God for she knows that none of her accomplishments would be possible without him.

Sydney is very active within the high school. She is involved in student council, National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and FCCLA.

Sydney won State in her FCCLA Fashion Design  competition and advanced to compete at Nationals in Nashville, Tennessee, where she also placed first against 100 other participants. She plans to further her fashion design career at the University of Texas at Austin.
