ROCKWALL, TX – October 11, 2021 — Former Game Warden Captain and longtime Rockwall resident Tony Norton announces his bid for Rockwall County Justice of the Peace Precinct One.
Norton is seeking to bring his 32 years of Criminal Justice experience and leadership to Rockwall County. Currently, he serves as a Deputy Constable in Collin County working directly with their multitude of courts. He has extensive experience in fatality investigations and understands the importance of working with families during difficult times. He will give the “People’s Court” a Judge that handles all duties of the Court and delivers leadership that will provide fair, efficient justice.
“My goal is to continue the excellent reputation Precinct One has and improve upon it with new court innovations,” Norton stated.
Justice Courts handle small claims up to $20,000, Class C misdemeanors, magistrations, and act as coroner for the county.
