A badge of Honor nonprofit to host inaugural 1st Responder and Veteran Family Fun Day Dec. 11

ROCKWALL, TX – November 1, 2021 — Area first responders and veterans are invited to bring their families for a fun day at the Veterans Resource & Outreach Center (4210 Industrial St., Rowlett, TX) on Saturday, Dec. 11.

Starting at 10 a.m., the event provides a unique opportunity for first responders, veterans and their families to come together, have fun, and relax in a supportive place. with food, games for the kiddos, motorcycles, and entertainment. Resources to assist first responders, veterans, and family will be on site as well.





Admission is a $10 donation in advance online at www.abadgeofhonor.com or $15 at the door. Bring a can of food to help support Life Message’s Food Bank in Rowlett and you will receive a complimentary raffle ticket.

The time between Thanksgiving and Christmas is statistically the toughest time for our first responders and veterans. This inaugural fundraising event benefits A Badge of Honor, a local 501(c)3 providing post-traumatic stress awareness and suicide prevention to local law enforcement and first responders through interactive workshops.
