ROCKWALL, TX – April 22, 2022 — Makayla Smith serves the Rockwall-Heath Highsteppers as Vice President of the council and is a third-year member. She is the daughter of Alicia and Jerret Smith.
Makayla has been on drill team since her sophomore year of high school and has served her team as secretary and vice president throughout her years.
She is an active member of the National Honors Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America, Best Buddies, National Dance Honors Society, and Peer Assistant Leadership.
Makayla plans to attend the University of Arkansas in the fall and major in strategy, entrepreneurship, and venture Innovation.
