Rockwall High School Stingerette Senior Showcase 2022: Francesca Martin

ROCKWALL, TX – April 18, 2022 — Meet Francesca Martin! She is the daughter of Randy and Norma Martin. Francesca serves as the Social Council Outreach Representative for the Stingerettes this year. She is a three year member of the Stingerettes and danced with the JV Jacket Babes her Freshman year. In 2021 she performed with the team that won Showtime “Team Champion” and in March this year she was a team member that won American Dance/Drill Team “National Champion Team Lyrical”.

Francesca has been a member of the Hip Hop team, was voted “Positive Polly” in 2020 for her great attitude and “Most Fashionable” in 2021-22. Her junior year she was awarded the Best Friend Group award by her peers. She had the unique honor of performing with the Stingerettes in the 2019 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade as part of the Spirit of America dance team as well as performing at Walt Disney World in January, 2022.

In addition to Stingerettes, Francesca is active outside of dance. Her Freshman year she was on the RHS Cross Country team. She participates in Peer Assisted Leadership (PALS) with Mrs. Routen’s Kindergarten class at Nebbie Williams Elementary, RHS Student Council, and is a member of the Spanish Club. She has documented over 100 Senior volunteer hours and is a member of the National Honor Society.

She has been employed part-time with The Fatted Calf on the square for the past year and also babysits for local families.

After graduation, Francesca will be attending Mississippi State University in the Fall to obtain a degree in Business and Finance with further plans of getting her Commercial Real Estate License.
