Rockwall High School Stingerette Senior Showcase 2022: Jillian Maggio

ROCKWALL, TX – April 15, 2022 — Meet Jillian Maggio! Jillian is the daughter of Chuck and Donna Maggio. She is Head of Communications and serves on the Social Council.

This year Jillian danced with Elite Jazz, Team Novelty and Team Open all of which were named American Dance/Drill Team National Champions.

In her three years on the varsity line she has been a member of Showstopper Elite, Kick Company and was awarded “Stingerette of the Week”, “Miss High Kick Top Five”, “Miss Jump Splits Top 3” and “Highest GPA.”

She was on the Tap Team, Hip Hop Team and was awarded “Relatable Rette” and “Most Flexible” her Junior year. As a member of the JV Jacket Babes her freshman year, she was awarded “Best Technique” and “Highest GPA” and when auditioning for Stingerettes she scored in the “Top Five.”

Jillian had the honor of performing with the Stingerettes in the 2019 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade as part of the Spirit of America dance team as well as performing at Walt Disney World in January 2022.

In addition to the drill team, she has danced the past three years with The Dance FX studio in Garland which was named American Dance/Drill Team “2022 Studio National Champions.” In her early dance years, Jillian trained formally for 13 years at Royalty Dance Academy in Rockwall.

Her other school activities have included Peer Assisted Leadership (PALS), National Honor Society (NHS) and Family, Career & Community Leaders of America (FCCLA).

In Fall 2022, Jillian will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design to study Film and Television.
