Rockwall, TX (April 20, 2023) – Meet Gracie Wood! Gracie is the daughter of Heather and Jake Wood and has danced with the Rockwall High School Stingerettes all three years as well as with the JV Jacket Babes her Freshman year.
Gracie was awarded “Miss Star Dancer” and “Stingerette of the Week” in 2023. In addition, she earned the JV Jacket Babes “Director’s Choice Award” in 2020. She has been a member of the Hip Hop, Tap, and Kick Companies and danced with this year’s ADTS National Champion Super Team. Gracie performed with the Stingerettes in Walt Disney World in 2022 and will also dance with the team in their upcoming trip to San Antonio.
While at RHS, Gracie was a member of the Peer Assistance and Leadership (PALs) program and the National Honor Society. Gracie will graduate in the top 10% of her class and will attend the University of Texas at Tyler to pursue a degree in Nursing.
