Rockwall, TX (May 8, 2023) – Our Rockwall High School Stingerette Senior Spotlight continues with Mackenzie Brown. Mackenzie is a three-year team member and serves as a Rockwall Dance Instructor (RDI). She is also a member of the Kick Company and the Hip Hop Company.
Mackenzie earned the title of “Stingerette of the Week” 2021-2022, “Spirit Girl” 2021-2022, and “Positive Polly” 2021-2022 and 2022-2023. In addition, she was voted “Cleanest Rette” for three years in a row. Mackenzie performed at Walt Disney World in 2022 and also danced with her team on the San Antonio trip in 2023. She performed with the ADTS National Champion JVI/RDI team and the ADTS National Champion Team in 2023.
At Rockwall High School, Mackenzie is a member of the Peer Assistance and Leadership (PALs) program and is also a member of the National Honor Society. In addition, she was a member of the National Charity League Texas Pearl Chapter from 2017-2020.
Mackenzie is the daughter of Patty and Jim Brown and will attend the University of Texas at Tyler to pursue a degree in Education.
