Rockwall, TX (June 29, 2023) – Rockwall County Genealogical Society (RCGS) will meet Thursday July 6th at 6:00PM in the Genealogy Room of the Rockwall County Library.
For July’s meeting, RCGS will be joined by professional speaker Barbara Coakley. Barbara will be presenting the topic “Digging Up Deeds.” U.S. Land records are some of the earliest and most complete records available. They contain clues to relationships, economic standing, migration, and much more. Learn about transactions between individuals using case studies to demonstrate how to find and understand different types of deeds.
