In-Sync Welcomes Siegfried & Roy Exotic Cats!

Wylie, Texas (July 11, 2023) – The Mirage Las Vegas’ July 3rd news release let the ‘cat out of the bag,’ naming In-Sync Exotics Wildlife Sanctuary and Educational Center in Wylie, Texas as one of two sanctuaries that is now forever home to big cats from the famed Secret Garden of Siegfried & Roy in Las Vegas.

In May In-Sync Exotics’ transport team returned home with two male, white lions and three leopards. The In-Sync transport team then returned to Vegas at the end of June to transport the remaining big cats to the WildCat Ridge Sanctuary in Scotts Mills, Oregon.

In-Sync Exotics was selected to adopt these big cats and become their new forever home because of the unparalleled In-Sync team, long-standing experience with similar exotic cats, and extensive facility. The selection to not only adopt the animals but also lead the transports were based on In-Sync’s international reputation for transporting and relocating large exotic cats as they transition to a new facility.

“We are honored to have been selected to care for these amazing animals for the rest of their lives,” said Vicky Keahey, Founder and Executive Director of In-Sync Exotics. “We look forward to providing them the highest level of care with the utmost respect for their well-being that we pride ourselves in giving our75 other exotic cats who live with us at In-Sync Exotics.”

Madiba and Timba-Masai are 9-year-old, male white lions. Shadow is a 14-year-old melanistic (black) leopard and Neruda and Ibasa are 19-year-old spotted leopards. They will join the other 75 exotic cats that already call In-Sync home.

While the cats are acclimating to their new home, we ask that our visitors give them some space before spending too much time gathered near their enclosures.
