Rockwall, TX (August 25, 2023) – Rockwall County Master Gardeners are hosting a class “All About Trees” Saturday, September 30 from 8:30-11:00 am. The class will be held at the Harry Myers Community Center and Park located at 815 East Washington Street, Rockwall, TX 75087.
This class will cover the following topics:
- Recommended trees for the area.
- Diseases and pest management
- Time to plant and how to transplant
- Proper irrigation and supplemental watering
Speakers on these topics include:
- Travis Sales, Certified Municipal Arborist – City of Rockwall
- Mark Johnson, Port-A-Tree, Inc
- Jim Bartholomew, Rockwall County Master Gardener
This class is suitable for all tree enthusiasts, including homeowners, professional landscapers, land developers and HOA management. There are 2.5 CEU credits available.
