Rowlett, TX (September 13, 2023) – September is Hunger Action Month. Unfortunately, the number of people who need assistance with food continues to grow in our community.
In fact, over 27% of children under 18 in Dallas County live in households that have experienced food insecurity in the past year. We need your help to meet that need!!
The Northeast Dallas County Kiwanis Club and the Rowlett Lions Club are joining forces, hosting a Citywide Food Drive for the month of September to support the Hope in Hands Food Pantry at First Christian Church in Rowlett.
Participation is easy – just add a couple non-perishable or hygiene items to your groceries and bring them to one of our many business drop-off locations. Together we can make a difference!!
