Award given to David Thompson – The Veterans Outpost

Rockwall, TX (October 4, 2023) – Once again The Veterans Outpost located in Greenville, Texas has received recognition for reaching out to Veterans in need. Over the last year Congressman Keith Self has promoted the efforts of David Thompson, the Veterans Outpost Board of Directors and staff and numerous volunteers by introducing them to Washington DC’s Veteran Friendly networks and establishments.

On September 27th, David Thompson of the Veterans Outpost, received an Award from the Blinded American Veterans Foundation. A Congressional Dinner was hosted by BAVF and held at the Capitol Hill Club in Washington DC. Congressman Keith Self and Floyd McClendon were on hand for the presentation to award Thompson for his continuing work with Veterans through The Veterans Outpost.
