Rockwall, TX (January 29, 2024) – Karen Myers, a local Realtor and conservative Republican, wife and mother of two wonderful daughters, and loving grandmother of two beautiful grandchildren announces her candidacy for Precinct 3E Chair of the Republican Party of Rockwall County.  Karen grew up in the South Garland area where she graduated from South Garland High School.  She is married to her high school sweetheart, Johnny Myers and they are about to celebrate 43 years of marriage.   Karen is a current member of the Rockwall County Republican Women’s club and served as its Vice President of Membership from 2021-2022 as well as having served as a delegate at the State Convention for the Republican Party.  She is a member of the Rockwall Historical Foundation and a proud member of The Rockwall Women’s League, one of the largest service organizations in Rockwall County for nearly 5 years.  She has been a member of Eastridge Church of Christ for over 30 years.

WHY SHE IS RUNNING

“Giving back to and serving my community that I have lived in for nearly 43 years is extremely important to me.  I believe my current and past service and experience in these organizations make me very qualified to lead my precinct as it’s Chairwoman.   I believe it’s important that we continue to build a strong republican party here in Rockwall and educate people on our core values and conservative principals.  Being elected as Precinct 3E Chair will be another way of continuing to give back to this wonderful community and my beloved Rockwall County as a whole.”
