Rowlett, TX (January 25, 2024) – The Rowlett Lions Club has been a generous supporter of local and state charities since its inception in 1966. The Texas Lions Camp, Inc. (lionscamp.com) located in Kerrville, Texas recently awarded several chevrons to the Rowlett Lions Club to celebrate their 300%-1500% donation participation with the Texas Lions Camp. The Rowlett Lions Club’s donations support the summer programs for children with physical disabilities, Down syndrome, cancer and type-1 diabetes. Working together, the Rowlett Lions Club has given children with disabilities an opportunity of a lifetime that they would not have otherwise had. The Rowlett Lions Club strives to enrich the legacy of the Texas Lions Camp.
