Rockwall, TX (February 6, 2024) – Saniya is a Senior Varsity Cheerleader at Rockwall High School. She is a four-year member of the Cheer team and serves as the Varsity Spirit Captain. Saniya is the daughter of Garian and Alicia Demars and has a brother named Bryson Demars.
Saniya has received many awards while cheering at Rockwall High School including “NCA High School Champion” 2020-2021, “NCA Top Gun Jumper” 2021-2022, “NCA All-American Cheerleader” 2021 & 2023, “4.0 Club” 2020-2023, “Best Tumbler” 2020-2021, “Miss 100%” 2021-2022 and “Best Side Base” 2020-2022. She placed number one of “Top Five” for Rockwall High School Cheer tryouts in 2022.
She is a three-year member of an Allstar competitive team at Cheer Athletics. She had the opportunity to compete with her team at Walt Disney World in 2023 and win a Summit Championship in the level 5 Division.
Saniya is a member of The National Honor Society (NHS) and Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA). She is an intern in the RISD Health Science Program and served on the Student Council.
After graduation, Saniya plans on continuing her education and pursuing a degree in Nursing.
