Rockwall, TX (April 18, 2024) – Our 2024 Stingerette Senior Spotlight begins with Kate Rohde. Kate is the daughter of Chris and Shannon Rohde and is a three-year member of the team.
Kate was named a Stingerette of the Week as a senior and Positive Polly in 2022. She danced on this year’s ADTS 2023-2024 National Champion Super Team and Best of the Best Team. The team earned the ADTS Wow Award in the Production Category. She was also on the 2022-2023 ADTS National Champion Team Super Team which was recognized with a Rockwall ISD Trustee Award. Kate attended the Disney Imagination Campus Performance in Florida in January of this year and performed with the team at Walt Disney World in 2022. She also joined the team on the San Antonio trip in 2023.
Her favorite part of Stingerettes has been spending time with her friends and team.
During the 2020-2021 year, Kate was a member of the Jacket Babe JV Drill Team which was named the ADTS National Champion JV Team and ADTS Best of the Best Team. She was also recognized as a Jacket Babe of the Week her freshman year. Kate was a two-year member of the RHS Orchestra and National Honor Society.
Outside of school, Kate was involved in studio dance for 11 years with several studios and performed in the Nutcracker Ballet each of those years.
Kate plans to attend Texas State University to study Psychology and continue to graduate school to obtain her Master’s in Professional Counseling.
