Westbound I-30 frontage road opens; traffic shifts at Dalrock Road starting April 10

Rockwall, TX (April 8, 2024) – Weather permitting, a partial opening of the westbound I-30 frontage road bridge will begin the evening of Wednesday, April 10.

Once the bridge opens, there will be a traffic shift on Dalrock Road at the I-30 intersection through summer 2024:

• Southbound Dalrock Rd. traffic will continue to westbound I-30.

• For southbound Dalrock Rd. needing to access eastbound I-30, detour to Sunset Drive then turn left at Bayside Dr. and continue south over the Sapphire Bay Bridge to turn left onto the eastbound I-30 frontage road.

• Westbound I-30 traffic going to northbound Dalrock Rd. will temporarily detour to Bayside Drive.

* Additionally, weather permitting, the Eastbound I-30 Frontage Road Bridge between Bass Pro and Dalrock, starting April 10 the exit to Sapphire Bay will be opened as well as continuing through to entry back onto I-30 Eastbound.
