Rockwall, TX (May 3, 2024) – Rockwall-Heath High School’s a cappella ensemble, Infiniti, has once again showcased its exceptional talent on the national stage, securing a remarkable second-place finish at the 19th International Championship of High School A Cappella (ICHSA) Finals. This achievement, held on April 26, 2024, at New York City’s renowned Town Hall, a landmark venue in the heart of NYC’s theatre district, is a testament to the group’s dedication and hard work, and a significant milestone in their musical journey.
Infiniti’s journey to the ICHSA Finals is a testament to their exceptional musicality, skillful choreography, and dedication to their craft. From their outstanding performance at the Southwest Semifinals, where they clinched the coveted first-place spot, to their impressive showing at the Finals, where they competed against some of the country’s most talented high school a cappella groups, Infiniti has shown remarkable growth and progress.
Under the expert guidance of directors Lauren Smith and Josh Coats, who have been instrumental in shaping Infiniti’s unique sound and style, Infiniti has consistently set itself apart in the regional and national a cappella scene. Their unwavering commitment to excellence and their deep passion for their art have garnered them accolades and recognition throughout their journey.
In addition to their second-place finish, Infiniti also received the esteemed award for Best Choreography for their entire set, further illuminating their exceptional talent and innovative creativity.
