Rockwall, TX (May 15, 2024) – Our next Senior Spotlight is Haley Havens. Haley currently serves as Stingerette President on Social Council and is a three-year member of the team. She is the daughter of Diane and Hank Havens.
Haley was named Miss Drill Team for the 2023-2024 year, as well as a Stingerette of the Week. As a junior, she held the position of Junior Coordinator on Social Council. She also received the weekly awards of Positive Polly and Miss Yes Ma’am during her time with the team. Haley has been a member of the Hip Hop, Tap and Kick Companies.
She danced on this year’s ADTS 2023-2024 National Champion Super Team which also won Best of the Best Team. The team earned the ADTS Wow Award in the Production Category and was named A Wish Come True Team. The team placed second in the International Division.
As a freshman, Haley was a member of the Jacket Babe JV Drill Team where she was named a Jacket Babe of the Week. The team earned the won first place at the ADTS National Competition and Best of the Best Overall Team in 2021.
Haley is known for her conscientious attitude and is active in several school clubs including National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Interact Club and Student Council where she has served as Environmental Chair and on the Executive Committee. She is also a founding member of the Women in Stem Club.
In addition to Stingerettes, Haley has danced the past four year at the Dance FX Studio where she is currently on the Senior Company.
Haley received national recognition from the College Board in 2023 and 2024 for her AP test scores and will be graduating in the top 2% of her class. In the fall she will attend the University of Texas at Austin to pursue a degree with the Human Ecology Honors Program for Advanced Human Development and Family Sciences.
