Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officers’ Program Coming To Rockwall ISD for 2024-2025 School Year
After years of dedicated effort, Rockwall ISD has achieved a significant milestone: establishing a JROTC program. Despite Texas already meeting the number of approved programs, the Assistant Secretary of the Navy approved Rockwall ISD’s ongoing request. This program is a testament to our commitment to providing exceptional opportunities for our students.

Major Cody Stewart, Regional Director, delivered the exciting news and introduced the JROTC instructors soon to lead our students. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with over 150 high school students signing up for the program during registration. The Dr. Gene Burton College and Career Academy will offer the program. This program heralds a new opportunity for student success.
