Rockwall County, TX (September 25, 2024) – The Rockwall County Library is hosting a Fall Community Resource Festival for families on Thursday, October 3rd, 2024, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Bringing together the City of Rockwall Police Department, Rockwall County DA’s office, Rockwall County Sheriff’s office, Rockwall County Sheriff’s Posse volunteer organization, Rockwall County Emergency Management, Rockwall ISD, Royse City ISD, Helping Hands, Meals on Wheels, Rockwall County Literacy Center, Rockwall County Library, local churches (Lakepointe and Our Savior Lutheran) amongst other community organizations and non-profits, the Rockwall County Library seeks to provide a one stop shop for community resources and information.
The festival also offers fun, family-friendly activities! Check out the petting zoo, horses from the Rockwall County Sheriff’s Posse volunteers, Perot Museum science truck, and other games and activities to keep everyone occupied and entertained while community members connect with what they need in the community.
Many times, although we have a large supply of wonderful resources available in the county, people are unaware as to what and where to find resources they need. The Rockwall County Library is working hard to fill the gap for our Rockwall County community, and make our citizens aware that the county offers support for you and your family.
