Rockwall, TX (October 8, 2024) – The Leadership Rockwall Class of 2025 recently completed an intensive and enriching leadership retreat, held on October 4th and 5th, marking a significant milestone in their journey toward community leadership development. The retreat, designed to foster teamwork, personal growth, and leadership skills, was held at Leadership on the Move in Ponder, Texas.
During the two-day retreat, participants engaged in dynamic workshops, team-building activities, and strategic discussions aimed at honing their leadership abilities and deepening their understanding of the Rockwall community. The immersive experience provided the Class of 2025 with opportunities to explore various leadership styles, collaborate with peers, build relationships, and strengthen their commitment to creating a positive impact within Rockwall County.
Leadership Rockwall is a 9-month, Rockwall County focused community leadership program designed to develop the skills leaders need to excel. The program includes a combination of in-depth issue seminars and skill development designed to enhance self-awareness of leadership approaches. Participants are charged with the task of identifying an issue, program or project that needs attention. After selection and approval of the project, the class then plans and executes a sustainable community project.
