Rockwall, TX (October 22, 2024) – Friends of Downtown Rockwall presented $5,000 checks to Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Texas and Lone Star CASA on Sept. 28 during Rockwall’s final Farmers Market of the season. Annually, Friends of Downtown Rockwall donates a portion of their proceeds to local charities. Over the past 10 years the group has donated over $100k to local non-profit groups in Rockwall.
This was Farmers Market’s 17th season on the historic downtown square. Look for the market to return the first Saturday in May 2025 with over 30 vendors offering fresh produce, grass-fed meats, fresh baked artisan breads, farm eggs, honey, jams, pasta, tamales and more.
