HEATH, TX (October 17, 2024)- The FBI-Law Enforcement Executive Development Association (FBI-LEEDA) recently announced that the Heath Department of Public Safety was awarded the FBI-LEEDA Agency Trilogy Award. This award recognizes the departments successful completion of an innovative training program designed to strengthen public safety leadership and management globally.

The entire command staff of the Heath Department of Public Safety completed a comprehensive three-part leadership series, covering key topics such as diversity and inclusion, bias, public trust, transformational leadership, and social and emotional intelligence. The Agency Trilogy Award recognizes law enforcement agencies that demonstrate the leadership qualities essential for improving both their departments and the communities they serve. Former FBI-LEEDA President Greg Hamilton presented the department with the prestigious award.

“The Heath Department of Public Safety is dedicated to offering continuous educational opportunities for our team, and receiving the FBI-LEEDA Agency Trilogy Award reflects that commitment,” said Chief Brandon Seery. “We are eager to apply what we’ve learned to enhance our service in the community.

Each FBI-LEEDA course is uniquely designed to enhance law enforcement of varying levels with leadership competencies. The courses are instructed by seasoned public safety leaders nationwide who tailor their strong expertise to each training course.

“FBI-LEEDA is proud to present the Agency Trilogy Award to the Heath Department of Public Safety,” said former FBI-LEEDA President Greg Hamilton. “The department has shown exceptional leadership through their Trilogy training, and we look forward to seeing all they achieve in the future.”
