Rockwall County, TX (November 13, 2024) – Lone Star CASA is pleased to announce the generous businesses that will be participating in Cheers for CASA during the month of November. This month-long initiative invites local businesses to select a specific item from their menu, or host a specialty day, from which they will designate a portion of the proceeds to donate to Lone Star CASA in support of their mission.
Lone Star CASA elevates the voices of children in Kaufman and Rockwall County who have experienced abuse and neglect by providing trained volunteer advocates to work alongside children and families so they can achieve safety and stability to fulfill their potential.
Lone Star CASA invites all community members to participate in the fundraiser, from November 1 to November 30, to support local businesses and children. Plan a visit to the businesses below and purchasing the following items:
All Month:
- Candles by Carol (Rockwall location) – Pumpkin Brulee Candle
- 5013 Coffee (Rockwall & Heath locations) – The “Holly Jolly” Drink
- Small Cakes (Rockwall location) – Strawberry Cupcake
- Stash’s Table & Fable (Forney location) – All desserts
- Texas Roadhouse (Rockwall location) – Island Cooler Cocktail
- The Hole Thing Donuts (Rockwall & Forney locations) – Strawberry Cheesecake Donut
- What’s Poppin (Forney location) – Sweater Weather Popcorn Mix
- Wing Snob (Forney & Fate locations) – OG & Spicy OG Sandwich
Specialty Days:
- Thursday, Nov. 14 – Nina’s Brunch (Forney location): All Sales
- Tuesday, Nov. 26 – Culver’s (Rockwall location): All Sales from 5-9pm
