Heath High School Student Council wins Pack the Pantry Food Drive for 14th consecutive year

Heath, TX (November 8, 2024) – A legacy of student-led service! For the 14th consecutive year, the Rockwall-Heath High School Student Council beat Rockwall High School in the annual Pack the Pantry Food Drive! Every Fall, the winner of the food drive is announced before the I-30 Classic Football Game kickoff. This drive benefits Rockwall County Helping Hands food pantry and is sponsored by Rockwall Ford & Dodge.

These student leaders invite their student body, school staff, local businesses, community organizations, and their entire zip code to participate in the largest student-led philanthropy initiative in Rockwall County! The two schools collected a combined record total of 63,378 lbs. of food, with Heath High School collecting a new record number of 38,700 lbs.

The efforts of these students represent their desire to gain victories not only in athletics but victories in serving the community they love.
