Mobile food pantry brings fresh fruit and more to those in need

Rockwall, TX (November 12, 2024) – The mobile food pantry brings fresh fruit, vegetables, and other food items to Rockwall this weekend! North Texas Food Bank and Catholic Charities of Dallas recently announced the addition of a second mobile food pantry for the Rockwall area beginning in November.

Scheduled for Saturday, November 16, the mobile food pantry will make it’s first visit from 12:30pm-2:30pm.  Next Tuesday, November 19 will be the second food pantry from 9:00am-11:00am.  Going forward, the organizations will host two Food Pantry’s on the third Saturday and Tuesday of each month.

The October food pantry was a big success – feeding 179 families! Those in need can visit the schedule food pantry at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church located at 1305 Damascus Road in Rockwall.
