Celebration of Life: Services for longtime Rockwall resident Judith Minth Jan 3

Rockwall, TX (December 30, 2024) – Judith Ann Minth, age 83, of Rockwall, Texas, passed away on November 28, 2024. Judy was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 20,1941. Parents Leslie and Julia Horvath and brother John Leslie Horvath preceded her in death.

Judy is survived by her loving husband of sixty years, Ron Minth; three children: Ryan Minth, Kristen Minth, Dr. Jeffrey Minth, his wife Allyson and two grandsons, Christian Minth and Nicolas Minth; sister Jan Moreland and husband Bruce, sisters-in-law Gloria Horvath, Alberta Bellhorn, Sherill Trevino and Ray, and brother-in-law Larry Minth and wife Helen. Numerous nieces and nephews and their children will also cherish memories of their beloved Aunt Judy.

A resident of Rockwall since 1980, Judy was highly engaged in church, civic, and philanthropic organizations. As a member of Lakeshore Church, she served faithfully on the worship team. She was active with Friends of the Library, Rockwall Committee on Aging, and the Hubbard Chamber Music Series. Through her affiliation with Rockwall Women’s League she helped spearhead a partnership with the City of Rockwall and the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting began in 1984. For 30 years, Judy organized and directed the holiday event. All who knew Judy were impacted by her consistent faith, kindness, enthusiasm, and selfless dedication to her community and numerous friends within it.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, January 3rd at 11 a.m. at Lakeshore Church (5575 Highway 205) with a reception following.
