Rockwall, TX (December 4, 2024) – The 15th Annual Festival of Trees brought holiday cheer and community spirit to Rockwall County during its two-day event on November 22–23, 2024. Held at the Hilton, this cherished tradition featured a spectacular holiday sale, a festive luncheon and style show, and an unforgettable gala—all in support of Helping Hands.
One of the most exciting highlights of the weekend was Helping Hands’ huge branding reveal, including a new logo. After many years of utilizing the current logo, the organization unveiled a fresh, modern design to reflect its updated presence and new building, set to be completed in February. The reveal marked a thrilling step forward for Helping Hands as it continues its mission to support the community. Jon Bailey, President and CEO of Helping Hands explains, “With the new building ready early next year, this was the perfect time to update our look. While we’re excited to introduce new branding that reflects our growth, the mission and vision of Helping Hands remain steadfast—especially our unwavering commitment to providing assistance to those in need across Rockwall County. This new building represents hope, enabling us to better serve the needs of Rockwall’s growing community.”
The Festival of Trees weekend kicked off with the Boutique of Helping Hands Holiday Popup Market, showcasing hundreds of unique holiday items, home decor, furniture, jewelry, clothing, wreaths, and trees. Open free to the public, the sale raised funds to support Helping Hands’ essential services for Rockwall County.
Friday’s luncheon and style show, presented by Texas Health Rockwall, offered attendees an afternoon of friendship, fashion, and fun. Guests enjoyed a delicious meal, watched a dazzling fashion show, and indulged in shopping major discounts for amazing finds at the boutique.
Saturday evening’s Festival of Trees Gala, presented by Rob and Sara Whittle and Timpa Law Firm, was a magical finale to the weekend. Guests delighted in dinner, dancing with mirrored disco dancers, and photos with Father Christmas. The gala also featured:
- A live auction with unique holiday gift items, including two diamond bracelets from Willis Fine Jewelers
- The chance to purchase extraordinary trees and wreaths, and
- Continued shopping opportunities at the Boutique of Helping Hands.
