Rockwall-Heath High School competing for Community Connection School of the Year

Heath, TX (January 8, 2025) – The Rockwall Heath Hawks have been selected as a finalist for the Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Community Connection School of the Year award presented by Optimum. As a part of the recognition, Rockwall resident and Rockwall Heath Sports Broadcaster, Shannon Rodden, was recognized for his service to the Rockwall Heath community with a special award presentation at Rockwall Heath and $1,000 donation to the school thanks to Optimum.

Six schools across Texas are competing for the crown to be the Community Connection School of the Year, and the school with the most online votes wins a $2,500 donation thanks to our local connectivity provider, Optimum.
