New Rockwall residential community marks $100M milestone for Corson Cramer Development
DALLAS (March 10, 2025) – Corson Cramer Development (CCD), a residential land development firm, is excited to announce its latest project: the Southside Hills residential community in Rockwall, Texas. The city’s newest community will feature a rural character with lake access, offering residents the perfect blend of lifestyle and amenities. This acquisition marks the firm’s tenth project and brings its total land acquisition value to over $100 million since its inception in 2021.
The 238-acre land acquisition will create 384 lots for future homeowners in the thriving Rockwall area. The featured homebuilders for the development will include Highland Homes, David Weekley Homes, and Perry Homes, offering a range of homes on 62’, 82’, half-acre, and acre lots. Southside Hills is conveniently located south of I-30 within the Rockwall Independent School District.
Plans for the community include an amenity center, open-air pavilion, pool, gathering spaces, playground, dog park and walking trails. The centerpiece of Southside Hills will be a 4-acre Texas-shaped lake, part of a planned 11-acre public park, adding a unique and picturesque touch to the development.
