Rockwall-Heath High School Rho Kappa Honor Society creates Young Voter’s Guide

Heath, TX (March 28, 2025) – The new Rho Kappa Honor Society at Rockwall-Heath High School has created the first “Rockwall-Heath High School Young Voter’s Guide.”

The RHHS Rho Kappa Honor Society has over 200 members and strives to give students opportunities to learn about local civic issues and solutions. To achieve this goal, the organization decided to create the first “Rockwall Heath HS Voter Guide” with candidate information that helps young voters be informed and engaged in our local political atmosphere. The goal is to help other young people become passionate about local issues and knowledgeable about proposed solutions to those issues.

The voter guide was created by the Rho Kappa Honor Society Voter Guide Committee members:
Keaton Steen
Katelyn Chambers
Addison Johnson
Charlotte Cunningham
Taylor Hignight
Gianna Wofford
Bee Clark
Anna Kate Synesael
The committee made an effort to contact political candidates from the City of Rockwall, City of Heath, City of Fate, and Rockwall ISD asking the following questions:

1.    What led you to pursue public service in local government?

2.    What positions or involvement have you had prior to this election?

3.    What are the primary issues facing this city and/or school district?

4.    How do you plan to help solve these issues through your public service?

5.    What is the proper role of local government?

6.    How will your time in office positively affect the next generation of young voters?

The chapter has many members and young voters who benefit greatly from this information. The organization hopes to see many young voters show up to vote on May 3rd. You can view the complete guide at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1HTcayrh2CpDCrQYEw11pz5PO0_Y6IiVU/view?usp=drivesdk
