Wylie, TX (April 3, 2025) – In-Sync Exotics Wildlife Rescue & Educational Center has once again been recognized for its outstanding contributions, this time in the area of volunteerism! As April marks National Volunteer Month, the timing of this recognition couldn’t be more perfect.
Voted Best Place to Volunteer by the C&S Media Readers Poll, In-Sync Exotics proudly acknowledges the dedication of its more than 130 active volunteers. These passionate individuals play a crucial role in the daily operations of the sanctuary, helping with tasks such as cleaning dens and enclosures, preparing and serving meals, giving guided tours, greeting visitors in the visitor center, and ensuring the well-being of over 80 exotic and domestic animals.
Located in Wylie, TX, In-Sync Exotics specializes in rescuing exotic cats—including lions, tigers, cougars, and more—that have been abandoned, abused, or neglected, or whose owners can no longer provide proper care.
“While we may have been voted Best Place to Volunteer, In-Sync is truly blessed with the best volunteers around!” said Vicky Keahey, Founder and President of In-Sync Exotics. “April is National Volunteer Month, making this the perfect time to celebrate our incredible volunteers and invite others to join in making a real impact.”
