Rockwall High School Senior Cheer Spotlight: Savannah Humber

Rockwall, TX (April 16, 2025) – Savannah Humber has enjoyed cheering for 3 years and supporting her school. She is a two-time NCA All-American Cheerleader and recently received a NCA Staff Invitation award to join the NCA staff after graduation.

Savannah began cheering in 7th grade at Utley Middle School and has participated in several UIL and NCA competitions in her time as a part of the Rockwall ISD cheer program. During her time as a RHS cheerleader, Savannah has been awarded 4.0 GPA Club (2x), Highest GPA Award (2x), Community Service Award (2x), Best Attitude and Cheerleader of the Year (2022).

Savannah also enjoys serving in her community and her church. She has volunteered at Lake Pointe Church working in the children’s ministry as well as at KidQuest in the summer for many years. She has been on mission trips to Waco, Arlington, Rio Grande Valley, and Guatemala. She is a part of the National Honor Society, Student Council, and has participated in the PALS program.

Savannah is thankful to have the love and support of her parents, Matt and Michelle Humber, her siblings, Austin (Freshman at RHS), Jackson (5th grade at Stevenson Elementary) and Grayson (3 years old), and many other family members.

Upon graduation, Savannah plans to attend a university to pursue a degree in Education.
