Rockwall High School Senior Cheer Spotlight: Shelby Jordan

Rockwall, TX (April 17, 2025) – Shelby Jordan has been an integral part of the Rockwall ISD cheer program for five years, starting with two years at Williams Middle School and continuing for three years at Rockwall High School.

Her dedication and talent have earned her numerous accolades, including being nominated twice for All-American Cheerleader and achieving All-American status once. Recently, Shelby received the prestigious NCA Staff Invite award, providing her with the opportunity to try out and potentially join the National Cheer Association Staff after graduation.

Shelby has competed with Rockwall Cheer on various UIL and NCA teams and is eagerly anticipating this year’s competition season. She has held leadership roles such as Freshman Co-Captain and JV Instructor during her sophomore year. Her commitment and hard work have been recognized with awards like Freshman Best Leader, JV Biggest Fundraiser, and membership in the 4.0 Club twice.

In addition to her cheerleading accomplishments, Shelby has attended multiple academic leadership summer conferences, nominated by several teachers, including the Lone Star Leadership Academy camp. She is also an active community member, participating in various extracurricular activities both in and out of school. This includes three years with the Rockwall High School Piano Program, four years with the Rockwall Law Program, involvement in S.T.U.N.T. with Cheer Athletics Rockwall, and serving as an area Youth Leader representative in her church.
