Rockwall, TX (April 19, 2025) – Ellie Taylor is our next Stingerette Senior Spotlight. Ellie is the daughter of Carol Taylor and Gina Grossheim. She is a two-year member of the team and currently serves as Chaplain for the 2024–2025 year.
This year, Ellie was named Stingerette of the Week and is a proud member of the Hip Hop Company. She contributed to the team’s outstanding success at ADTS Nationals, where they earned Best of the Best National Champion Team, National Champion Super Team, and National titles in Jazz, Lyrical, and Production categories.
Ellie also traveled with the team to Walt Disney World and participated in the Disney Imagination Campus Performance Workshop in 2024. The same year, the team was recognized with the prestigious RISD Trustee Award.
In her first year on the team, Ellie was part of the Tap Company and was honored with the Positive Polly Award for her consistently encouraging attitude.
Outside of Stingerettes, Ellie is involved in Peer Assisted Leadership (PALS) and has danced with the Studio 3:23 Company from 2023–2025.
In the fall, Ellie will attend Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi to pursue a degree in Biomedical Sciences, with plans to become a Physical Therapist. She will also be auditioning for a spot on the Islanders Dance Team, continuing her passion for performance at the collegiate level.
